Clubhouse Assistant

Regular Full Time
Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Golf or Hospitality management, Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant management, Accounting or a related field preferred. 

• Minimum of one to three years of experience in a traditional, high end club environment, upscale hotel or restaurant is preferred.  

• A degree in hospitality management and working toward the CCM designation is a plus.

• Experience supervising, coaching, mentoring and developing high achieving team members.

Scope:

Financial, budgeting and forecasting experience and knowledge of current HR laws and regulations. Works Closely with the Clubhouse Manager and the General Manager. Responsible for operation of all aspects of the Clubhouse operation in the absence of the Clubhouse Manager and performs specific tasks as requested by him/her. Responsible for the general operation of staff functions related to the Clubhouse. Supervises the work of the Dining Captains, Bartenders, Backservers and Host/Hostesses. Sits in on the House Committee. Supports all aspects of Private Parties and Club functions.

Seasonal On-Call
Experience:

Two years experience an accredited golf operation preferred.

Education/Certifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Valid state driver’s license and clean MVR required.

  • Primary Responsibilites:

  • Assist the Director of Golf and Head Golf Professional with their job duties as needed.
  • Establish positive relationships with members and guests.
  • Monitor daily operations of the Golf Shop.
  • Accurately record all daily play on tee sheets.
  • Assist with merchandise presentation.
  • Must be able to commit to hours of operations (during high season especially) weekends, evenings, and holidays. 

  • Lead Camp Counselor

    Seasonal
    Experience:

  • Experience with children ages 4-12.
  • Basic understanding of child development.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.

  • Education/Certifications:

  • High School diploma preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certified or ability to become certified.
  • Valid state driver’s license and clean background and MVR required.

  • Camp Counselors

    Seasonal
    Experience:

  • Experience with children ages 4-12.

    Wrangler

    Part Time
    Experience: 

  • High level of riding experience required.Knowledge of care of horses, equipment, tack, the use and application of varied tack, supplies and machinery.
  • Knowledge of trail safety procedures for rider and horse, how to respond to weather, and other unplanned conditions.

  • Education/Certifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic First-Aid

  • Skills:

  • Take care of and guide members and guests on trail rides.
  • Take care of trail horses, equipment, and tack.
  • Grooming and tack cleaning.Help with moving of horses to and from turnouts when needed.
  • Help with general clean up of Equestrian Center when having special events.Care for inside and outside of Equestrian Center.
  • Check for repairs needed, report to Facilities Maintenance for repairs.

  • Groom

    Full Time
    Education/Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Knowledge of care of horses, equipment, tack, the use and application of varied tack, supplies and machinery. 

  • Certification and/or License Requirement:

    Skills:

  • Must possess excellent oral and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of confidence.
  • Ability to read, comprehend and carry out instructions as well as communicate clear instructions.

  • Working knowledge of safety around members, guests and horses.

  • Barn Workers

    Full time

    Scope:
    Maintain established quality, cleanliness and service standards of Equestrian Center.

    Primary Responsibilities:
    • Daily cleaning and bedding of horse stalls.

    • Feed and water horses inside and outside barn.

    • Clean all feeders and waterers daily.

    • Clean all paddocks and rake all walkways.

    • Clean all aisles, wash stalls and grooming areas.

    • Dust and zip all tack trunks as needed.

    • Remove and dump garbage.

    • Dispose of manure as necessary.

    • Rake pathways, courtyard and driveways.

    • Move horses to and from turn-out areas as needed with turn-out sheets and boots as required

    Experience:

    Knowledge of care of horses, equipment, tack, the use and application of varied tack, supplies and machinery.

    Lead Captain

    Regular Full Time
    Education/Experience:

  • Experience supervising staff in a catering, banquets or full service fine dining environment.
  • Knowledge of wine and wine services preferred. Attendance to wine seminars and service training strongly preferred.
  • Participate in continuous training to enhance career development and technical areas of expertise.
  • Pass all written or verbal tests given by supervisors that encompass:

  • Etiquette & Performance Standards
  • Wine List, Vintages, Beverages-Alcoholic & Non Alcoholic
  • Menus, Ingredients & Preparation

  • Certification and/or License Requirement:

  • Alcohol Server Certification
