General Policies

The Equestrian Center is a non-smoking facility. This includes the barn area as well as outdoor areas, trails, and parking areas.

All members and guests must sign a Release of Liability on their first ride at the Club, and once a year thereafter.

The Equestrian Center is an alcohol free facility. This includes all outdoor areas, trails, parking areas and barn areas.

The Club reserves the right to serve alcohol at Club sponsored events. The Equestrian Director reserves the right to deny the use of the barn.

When visiting the Equestrian Center, please remember that horses are sensitive animals. No loud voices, noises or running in the facility.

Dogs are not allowed at the Equestrian Center for their safety and that of the horses. If the owner of a Special Service Dog wishes to visit the facility, the Equestrian Director will gladly make reasonable arrangements. Please let us know of such requests by calling (505) 995-8700.

Do not feed treats to the horses without explicit permission from the owner or instructor each time.

Please obey the posted speed limit of 5 miles per hour when driving inside the Equestrian Center gates; be mindful of horses and riders.

Bottled water will be provided upon request from the office.

Cancellations of lessons must be made at least 4 hours before the appointment, and cancellations of trail rides must be made at least 24 hours before the appointment, to avoid incurring a full fee charge. Please contact the Equestrian Center staff in person or by phone at (505) 995-8700 to cancel an appointment.

Dress Code

All children under 18 years of age are required to wear a safety helmet when riding at The Club at Las Campanas, Inc.

If you do not have a personal helmet, please inform the staff when you sign in, and one will be fitted for you.

Safety helmets are worn by all riders when jumping.

For your comfort and safety, wear long pants and shoes with at least a 1-inch heel and closed toe when riding. Boots are preferred.

Sunscreen, long-sleeved shirts and hats that can be secured are suggested for trail rides.
